Atlanta Trip

We had a great time in Atlanta! Mary Emmett slept longer than she has ever slept there! I guess she liked sleeping in her mommy's old crib! We were very busy and she met tons of people! Of course everyone loved her and she was soooo good during all of our running around and parties. The highlight of the trip was when she met Samantha Rose her best friend! It was so neat Dan held Samantha up to see Mary Emmett and they grabbed each others hand! It was the cutest thing I have ever seen! Katie and I could not believe it. Mary Emmett just looked so cute in this outfit that my cousins gave her. I had to take some pictures. Today she officially 5 weeks! Time has gone by so fast!


We are headed to Atlanta this weekend and for all of next week to house hunt, go to some parties for Travis and Molly, and meet Mary Emmett's prearranged best friend, Samantha Rose. Its going to be so fun! I will post pics once we get back!

5 Weeks

Today we went to the one month doctors appointment. Mary Emmett weighed 11lbs (which is 95% percentile) and was 22 inches long (75% percentile). I guess the milk is working! Ha! Here are some pictures of her today before we went to the doctor. She is smiling because she didn't know she was going to get a shot at the doctor. She didn't like it but she was over the pain pretty quick so that made it a little easier for me to bear. She's such a good, strong, and healthy girl! We are so blessed and thankful for the good report!


Mary Emmett witnessed her first snow day! We got about 6 inches in Memphis last Saturday! Here is a picture of her daddy and her in the snow!

4 Weeks! (Almost)

Here is a new picture of Mary Emmett at 4 weeks! (Well 3 weeks 6 days!) We go to the doctor on Tuesday for her month checkup. It will be interesting to see how much she has grown!

3 Weeks Old!

Mary Emmett is 3 weeks old! I can't believe how time has flown. It actually makes me sad that she is getting older! I don't want her to get bigger! We had a little "photo shoot" the other day. (The joys of staying at home!) Here are some pictures. I am not a professional photographer, obviously but they are still cute! Her little outfit was so big on her so she actually looks bigger than she really is but you can get the idea!
